Some of the highlights in the 2001/2002 calendar year saw John and the Band perform with John McDermott in his PBS special, appearing on Hockey Night in Canada and performing live with Sir Paul McCartney.

In addition to reedmaking, John also teaches, conducts workshops and judges.
